To join the team, you will:
- Hold a full Class 4 or 5 License
- Truck-mounted crane (Hiab) experience preferred
- Have a positive involvement with our Health & Safety programme and systems. This is our #1 priority, and there are no shortcuts or negotiations with safety.
- Be a team player, willing to fit in and learn something new with a positive and proactive approach – Cowboys need not apply!
- Demonstrate competent driving behaviours, loading & unloading skills.
- Knowledge/experience of the intricacies of handling steel and steel roofing is advantageous.
- Clean driver history, able to competently operate truck and trailer combinations.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Pass drug & alcohol pre-employment tests, Criminal and ACC history checks. checks.
Steel & Tube have zero tolerance for drugs in the workplace, so applicants will be required to be drug tested prior to employment being offered and subject to any post-incident testing or testing at random.
