As a Senior Estimator, you’ll assess requests for quotations, conduct material take-offs (MTOs), and prepare competitive pricing for medium to large-scale projects. You’ll work closely with internal teams, including Distribution and Manufacturing, and engage directly with clients to submit quotes and negotiate contracts. Your expertise will ensure accurate tendering and contribute to Steel & Tube’s reputation for delivering high-quality solutions. This role also involves monitoring market rates, entering tender data into our CRM system, and fostering strong relationships to drive new business opportunities in the reinforcing sector. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and estimate pricing for reinforcing steel quotations
• Conduct MTOs and prepare tenders for commercial projects
• Negotiate pricing and finalise contracts with clients
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor market trends to ensure competitive pricing

What You'll Bring

• At least 3 years’ experience in the construction or reinforcing industry
• Strong plan-reading skills for reinforced concrete projects
• Proficiency in estimating and pricing models
• Excellent communication and client engagement skills
• Desirable: AutoCAD proficiency or a qualification in building, engineering, or quantity surveying
