Steel & Tube, one of New Zealand’s leading steel solutions providers with over 70 years of history, is looking for a motivated Dispatcher Coordinator to join our Auckland Distribution team. Reporting to the Logistics and Planning Manager, you’ll play a key role in coordinating efficient, cost-effective deliveries in a fast-paced environment. With hands-on training and a supportive team, you’ll develop skills in dispatch operations, transport coordination, and process improvement while working alongside experienced professionals. What You’ll Do:

• Assist in coordinating transport providers and truck schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Support accurate dispatch processes, including preparing picking slips and delivery notes
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse, and customer service teams to keep operations running smoothly
• Help resolve delivery issues with guidance from senior team members
• Learn to maintain compliance with Health & Safety policies and NZTA regulations
• Contribute to process improvements and team collaboration

About You:

• Recent graduate or early-career professional with an interest in logistics or supply chain (no prior experience required)
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and proactive with a strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Competent in computer system usage
• Knowledge of NZ geography or transport regulations is a plus, but can be taught
• Full driver’s license preferred; forklift or crane skills are a bonus
