Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you’ll operate state-of-the-art rollforming, folding, and cut-to-length machines to process purlins and girts, contributing to high-quality steel products that shape the nation’s infrastructure. As a Machine Operator, you’ll handle advanced purlin and girt rollforming machines, ensuring precise production while maintaining safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate rollforming for purlins and girts
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine or process issues efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to maintain production schedules
- Uphold safety standards under the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015
About You:
- Experience running purlin/girt rollforming machines or similar equipment
- Computer-literate with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving
- Physically fit to handle steel products safely
- Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to quality
- Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments is a plus
