This unique role splits your day between morning deliveries of roofing products to local customers and afternoon support in the factory operating rollforming machines.

In this position, you’ll provide a vital delivery service for customers. You’ll collect instructions, load and secure products safely on the ute or trailer, complete efficient deliveries with excellent customer service, and represent Steel & Tube professionally at every site. In the afternoons, you’ll move into the factory to operate our rollforming machines, helping the production team meet the extra demand created by these next-day orders. You’ll also assist with measuring, assembling orders, and general factory tasks as needed.

This is a varied, active role that combines driving, customer interaction, and hands-on manufacturing. You’ll work closely with the Area Manager, production team, logistics, and customers to keep things running smoothly and safely every day.

About You:

• Full NZ driver’s licence (essential)
• Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting safely
• Strong safety focus with a proactive approach to QHSE
• Reliable, organised, and customer-service oriented
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
• Experience in driving, deliveries, or rollforming/production is highly regarded (especially in the roofing or building industry)
• Forklift and gantry crane tickets are desirable, but can be developed
