This is a hands-on role where you’ll run specialised machinery to produce high-quality steel products for the building and construction industry.
In this position, you will safely and efficiently operate a range of roll-forming machines. You’ll measure and cut materials to precise specifications, perform quality checks, bundle and package orders, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace. The role also involves general warehouse duties such as receiving goods, picking orders, loading/unloading, and using forklifts or cranes. As you develop your skills, you can progress through clearly defined skill levels.
This is more than just machine operation; you’ll play a key part in ensuring our Auckland branch delivers accurate, on-time products while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. You’ll work closely with the production team, supervisors and drivers in a fast-paced environment that values initiative, reliability and continuous improvement.
About You:
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work safely
- Strong focus on health & safety and following procedures
- Reliable with a good attendance record
- Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Forklift and/or crane ticket is advantageous (training can be provided)
- Previous experience in manufacturing, steel, production or warehousing is highly regarded
- Willing and eager to learn and progress through our skill-level programme
