About the Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor within our Roofing division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring precise and efficient measurement of materials for both commercial and residential projects. You’ll interpret architectural and structural plans, prepare accurate take-offs, and support the quoting and order placement process. Your keen eye for detail and strong technical knowledge will contribute to the delivery of high-quality solutions for our customers. You will be an integral part of the Steel & Tube national product and service offering to a broad range of customers and be critical in maintaining a high service level to increase customer satisfaction.
Job Description
What You’ll be Doing:
Provide accurate take-offs and cutting lists for roofing and cladding materials
Work closely with Account Managers to review technical information and ensure project accuracy
Maintain traceable records and improve roofing processes through continuous development and new technologies
What You’ll Bring:
A qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
3-5 years experience in construction, engineering, or a related environment
Strong understanding of technical drawings and the ability to visualize 3D designs
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to customer service
