Your Role:
Step into a dynamic position in our Auckland Distribution team where outstanding service and commercial awareness go hand in hand. You’ll be much more than an order taker, you’ll be a trusted advisor who drives growth.
- Process orders and craft accurate quotes while actively identifying opportunities to grow sales
- Understand customer needs deeply and recommend the right steel solutions to help them succeed
- Provide expert guidance, upsell complementary products, and build lasting relationships with our valued clients
- Deliver seamless service across phone, email, web, and in-person channels
About You:
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and get a real buzz from solving problems while spotting ways to create extra value for customers. You’re:
- A natural communicator with strong commercial instincts
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and genuinely passionate about customer success
- Accurate, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities with confidence
- Someone who enjoys turning enquiries into satisfied, repeat customers
Experience in the steel, construction, or manufacturing sectors is highly advantageous, but not essential. If you’re moving from a hands-on role into a customer-facing office position and want to develop your sales capability, this is an excellent opportunity.
